This Privacy Policy applies to the AquaLune mobile application developed by Mikael Tenshio.

AquaLune includes:

• Onboarding for setting your hydration goal
• Quick-add water logging, custom amount entry, and reusable cup presets
• History, daily summaries, reminder windows, and reminder settings
• Theme preference and app setup state stored locally on your device

AquaLune does not use accounts, ads, analytics, cloud sync, developer-operated servers, or the Android Advertising ID. AquaLune itself does not collect, transmit, sell, or share your hydration data.

database Information Stored Locally

AquaLune stores your app data locally on your device using Android app storage. Local data may include:

• Your hydration goal
• Water intake logs with timestamps and optional cup references
• Reminder settings such as enabled state, start time, end time, interval, and reminder preferences
• Reusable cup presets and custom cup settings
• Theme preference and onboarding-completion state

This information stays in AquaLune's local app storage unless you remove it from the app or from Android system settings.

notifications_active Reminders and Notifications

AquaLune includes reminder windows, interval settings, and reminder preferences so users can schedule hydration nudges throughout the day.

On Android, AquaLune may ask for notification permission so it can show hydration reminders. AquaLune also uses a reminder receiver and the boot-completed permission to restore or reschedule reminders after your device restarts.

If you decline notification permission or disable notifications in Android settings, reminder alerts may be limited or unavailable.

shield No Ads, Analytics, or Sharing

AquaLune does not include analytics, crash reporting, advertising SDKs, tracking SDKs, cloud storage, or developer-operated networking.

Because AquaLune does not transmit your hydration records to us, we do not sell or share that data with advertisers, analytics providers, or data brokers.

data_exploration Permissions and Device Features

The Android app AquaLune currently uses or declares:

• Notifications - used to show hydration reminders when you allow them
• Receive boot completed - used to restore or reschedule reminders after your device restarts

AquaLune does not require Internet, camera, microphone, contacts, location, SMS, call-log, advertising ID, or file-sharing permissions for its core functionality.

delete Data Retention and Deletion

Locally stored AquaLune data remains on your device until you use Reset all data in the app, clear AquaLune's app data through Android settings, or uninstall the app.

Resetting or clearing app data removes the local hydration records, goal, cups, reminder settings, theme preference, and onboarding state stored by AquaLune on that device.

child_care Children's Privacy

AquaLune is not directed to children under 13. AquaLune does not include an account system, analytics, advertising, or developer-operated collection of personal information.

Acceptance of Terms

By installing, accessing, or using AquaLune, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the app.

Intended Use

AquaLune is provided as a hydration-tracking and reminder utility for lawful personal, educational, and general wellness use. You agree not to misuse the app, interfere with its operation, or use it for unlawful, deceptive, or unauthorized purposes.

AquaLune is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Hydration goals, reminders, and summaries are informational tools only.

If you have a medical condition, activity-related hydration concern, or a question about safe fluid intake, you should consult a qualified health professional.

Reminders and Device Responsibility

You are responsible for your device settings, notification permissions, battery conditions, and Android system restrictions that may affect reminder delivery.

The developer is not responsible for missed reminders, delayed alerts, local data loss, or data visibility issues caused by notification settings, device-level restrictions, storage clearance, system resets, or other apps.

Feature Scope and Availability

AquaLune currently emphasizes hydration-goal setup, daily intake logs, reminder windows, reusable cup presets, history summaries, settings, and local app storage.

Some interface flows or reminder behavior may change over time and may vary by device capabilities, Android version, notification settings, or app release.

Limitation of Liability

AquaLune is provided on an as is and as available basis, without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer, as creator of the app, shall not be liable for health-related decisions, hydration choices, missed or delayed reminders, lost logs, inaccurate entries, device issues, Android notification behavior, or any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive losses or damages arising from or related to your use of, reliance on, or inability to use AquaLune.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where it cannot legally be limited, including rights that cannot be excluded under consumer protection, product liability, or other applicable laws.

Intellectual Property

AquaLune, including its branding, design, logo, original code, and related materials, is the intellectual property of the developer unless otherwise stated. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or decompile the app except as allowed by applicable law.

Changes to These Terms

These Terms and the accompanying Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Continued use of AquaLune after updates are published constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
